40/29 News - Fort Smith App Reviews

This is the first app I turn to when looking for local news. 40/29 covers both the River Valley and NWA equally. I would recommend this app to everyone.

40/29 News at 5, 6, & 10 are great. Im thinking with all the growth in the River Valley and NWestern Ark we are in need of a station for both.

I like this news team but the App is never current.

7 day forecast in map room too small and hard to read! News and weather not always current!

Nice app to get local news but youll receive too many news alerts that have nothing to do with local news or are not even news worthy.

Too many ads and bad news stories.

Need to be current, too much old news. Agree with all other reviews

The app has more out of area news and the local news tend to be outdated. The layout of the app is horrific. The app needs a complete overhaul.

SERIOUSLY.....IS THIS A JOKE? I call it the "30 second app" - There is ONLY 30 seconds worth of content to be a viewed! Todays content just proved my point! "Poll says that blondes are more likely to cheat!"

This app is well designed and easy to view; however, whoever is in charge of updating the news on the app is lacking in his/her duties. They rarely update the app except for every 3 or 4 days. If they were more on top of it, this app would be great.

This app is worthless. They do not update stories such as kidnappings to let you know what the outcome is. A 3-year old missing since July 15th but nobody bothers to update the app saying if the child was found. Also a 34-year old woman went missing and it took them 3 days to update that the woman was seen the night she went missing. 3 DAYS! They were told the woman was found (verified on the police department app) but the app makes no mention of it! Stupidity in inaction at work for this app.

How about you set up your app to where you are able to tap the notification on a story and it opens up the link directly to that story, instead of just opening it up to the home page where you then have to search for the article you initially clicked on? *GASP*

While the new updated app looks cool it is not very user friendly. It is hard to find anything without searching for it which wasnt the case with the old app. There is also a pop up ad that keeps coming up. When it did I would just close out the app because it covered the front page. Who cares about Superior Automotive (have it as a banner on top or bottom of screen). Also there are several stories that posted with a lot of bad grammar and misspelled words. If this is the quality of reporters then that explains why your channel is not Number 1 in the region. Thank goodness 5News (CBS) has their stuff together. I am deleting the app from my devices (wont miss anything by doing that - just frees up my phone from crappy apps).

Typical left wing news garbage with continuous updates on the latest police shooting of an unarmed black man. Predictable and late breaking

App is terrible since update. Mine constantly says "Connectivity error" and wont load.

I use this app everyday. The alerts I get keep me informed.

It has a hard time loading, gives me updates from fort smith, I dont care about fort smith. I do like the traffic function. Its the only thing thats been really nifty. But you need to fix some bugs in the app for sure.
